“Nicholas Negroponte, the co-founder of the Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, detailed specifications for a $100 windup-powered laptop targeted at children in developing nations.”
Not only is this laptop cheap, but its design is very well thought out. The battery doubles as a handle and the shoulder strap is the power supply and plug.

So, like, my dad comes home yesterday and tells me that we are leaving, because the hurricane is coming this way. It was around 2PM, and I had everything packed around 3. We waited for my mom to get back from work, she got back around 4, then we left at 5pm.

Dad’s plan was to leave around like 2:30 or 3. He had planned out a way to get out that he thought would not have as much traffic. Heh, he was SO wrong. We like, got stuck for along time and I thought it was sorta funny, but I was bored out of my mind. We got to my sister’s house at around 4:45am. My dad had the great idea of sleeping in the car to not wake up Shelly and Ryan.
He went to sleep, and my mom and I we like not even sleepy. I had 20 oz. of coffee like maybe an hour before. I tried to sleep on their porch, but the stupid mosquitoes were all over me. I was ready to bang on the door, but mom kept telling me no. About 5:50, I knocked on the door, no one answered, and my dad called them to wake em up. We got the key to Ryan;s parent’s house and we are staying there since they are on vacation.

Once we got to their house, we unpacked, and dad went to sleep. Mom and I went to Subway and ate breakfast. It owned so much, my sub was so awesome. I went to sleep around 9am. I woke up at 1pm and have been waiting all day to come here, my sister’s house, where I can get online!!! I dunno how jacked up the house will be, but i brought my PC, so I don’t have to worry as much! :D

Later for now, noobs.

So yeah, Nintendo is all the hype at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Why? Because of something they call the Revolution, a gaming revolution, that is.
At E3, Nintendo showed us the Revolution. It’s about as thick as 3 DVDs. And now they show us the controller, which they said is the real revolution. I have to say, it’s looking pretty cool, if you watch this video, you’ll get an idea of what it could be used for. All I can say is, wow! Be sure to check out Nintendo’s gallery of Revolution photos.

Todd from Geek News Central is right, trackback spam is way out of hand. When I had Wordpress, it was insane! Trackback spam was almost as bad as comment spam, and it shouldn’t be happening. Developers need to work on a solution. Todd is a paying user for Movable Type, and he shouldn’t have to deal with this, since the developers over at Six Apart created trackbacks to start with.
