I have sent my represenitives letters pointing out my veiw of the broadcast flag. I am against it completly! The Broadcast flag is somethng the RIAA and the MPAA have been pushing “to stop piracy”. It’s a load of crap, becuase what this will do is prevent you from taping shows to watch later! That means you can’t tape the big game if you miss it, no longer will you be able to tape your favorite show when your gone, because your DVR or VCR will have a chip that will not allow recordings if the show has the broadcast flag on it. This will not stop piracy, it will just make it a pain to do something we are legally allowed to do now.
Well, a BIG breakthrough came out today, and you can’t help but laugh at how these senators are finally standing up for us, like they should. Kudos go to Senator John Sununu, who opened some people’s eyes today!

I’ve been finding some audio books, and I have found a great one with an excellent voice. It’s Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. It’s only 30 minutes long, so if you have a mp3 player, be sure to throw this on it, trust me, you won’t regret it.

Tonight I’ve installed Asterisk@Home for the first time. I would have sooner, but the computer I was trying to install it on wasn’t working properly.
I have it set up with basic functions. I didn’t have much time to mess with it yet but I will work on it tomorrow and try to have it fully functional somethime tomorrow. The only problem I’ve had is login into FreeWorld Dialup.

I’m upgrading the blog to Wordpress 2 tonight, so there may be some downtime.
