I too have a white macbook and it has a cracked case on the right side palm rest and I have asked the apple store to see if apple will replace it and they said mine is out of warrantly. I rarely take my macbook anywhere and I have stopped closing it for fear the crack will go all the way across. It still keeps cracking more.
What do I do?

take it to the apple store. they are aware of the issue and repairing laptops for people.
